He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Slocumb Hobgood; his wife Jan Hobbs Hobgood; his sons, Lijah Darrell Hobgood of Americus and Landon Carl Hobgood of Albany; and his sisters, Karen Broadhurst (Steve) of Americus, GA and Marlene Hobbs (Jimmie) of Cataula, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
