With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Tatum (Americus, Georgia), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on June 13, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Dean Tatum (Lenora), Dwight R. Tatum (Loretta), Bennie Tatum (Andrea) and Douglas Tatum; her friend Barbara Aldridge of Americus, GA; her daughters, Betty J. Billings and Patricia Screws; and her sister-in-law Willie Mae Hawkins. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
