She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Lee Mathis of Winter Haven and Eva Mae Fredrick. She is survived by: her children, Jermail Hammett (Smith) and Shanquesa Davis; her siblings, Eva McFarley, Rose Robinson, Mary Hubbard, Regina Turrentine, Robert Mathis Jr. and Reverend Howard A. Mathis; her nieces and nephews, Minnie Davis, Danisha Mitchell, Tiana Smith, Brenda Rodriguez, Samoya Davis, Roger Lee Jackson III, Timothy Lajuan Jackson, Marcus Mitchell, Triston Davis, Kendrick Davis and Robert Lawrence; her grandchildren, Quavian Hammett, Jayden Hammett, Ja'torrian Sims and Ahmir Hammett; and her great grandchild Rumani Hammett. She is also survived by other nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eastview Cemetery.
