It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Crawford Myers of Ambrose, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Southern Edward "Coot" Myers and Minerva Johns Myers; his son Lonnie Edward Myers; his grandchildren, Carlton Eugene Musgrove and Heather KaLonnie Myers; his great grandchild Harper Lynn Brown; his sons-in-law, Kenny Brown, Richie Cole and Jimmy Laster; and his siblings, Vernon Myers, Lloyd Milton Myers, Robert Myers, Marvin Myers, Ellen West and Linda Meeler.
He is survived by: his wife Addie Mae Todd Myers of Ambrose, Georgia; his daughters, Sharon Brown of Broxton, Sandra Cole (Anthony Bowen) of Nicholls, Sabrina Laster of Douglas, Breanna Youngblood (Clay Youngblood) of Douglas and Haley Laster of Douglas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Candace Smith (Jeremy) of Douglas and Blake Peagler (Haley) of Douglas; his great grandchildren, CJ Musgrove, Kara Beth Aldridge, Ashleigh, Adilynne Harrell, Nash, Slade Youngblood, Elizabeth, Isabelle Peagler and Ryland Merritt; and his siblings, Mildred Pelletier of Fernandina, Jeannette Thrift of Hilliard, Jean Lewis of Hilliard, Carl Myers of McRae and Geneva Lott of Douglas, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church (96 Boxwood, Broxton, GA 31519). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Reedy Branch Cemetery Reedy Branch Church (96 Boxwood, Broxton, GA 31519).
