He was predeceased by: his parents, Mackie C. Jowers and Evelyn Morgan Jowers. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Lynn Jowers of Ambrose, GA; his children, Donnie N. Jowers of Ambrose, GA and Annie C. Jowers of Ambrose, GA; his grandchildren, Donnie Jowers III of Ambrose, GA, Chancey Shook of Ambrose, GA and Evelyn Lee of Ambrose, GA; and his sister Patsy Jowers of Ambrose, GA. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Non-Denominational Church (117 Warren Carter Rd, Douglas, GA 31533). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery (17513 GA-158, Ambrose, GA 31512).
