He was predeceased by: his daughter Melinda Massey; and his grandson Tylor Massey. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Mae Massey of Alto; his daughter Anita Thurmond of Gainesville; his children-in-law, Tim Thurmond of Gainesville, Eric Massey, Melissa Massey of Gainesville, Michael Massey of Clarkesville, Brian Massey and Amy Massey of Alto; and his sister Carolyn Ray of Phenix City. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
