He is survived by: his wife Sherry McConnell Fortner; his children, Andrea McConnell, Heather McConnell of Alto and Alex Campbell (Leighanne); his grandchildren, Kacey, Jaxson and Walker; and his siblings, Connie Williams (Jimmy) of Gainesville and Tony Fortner (Rejonah) of Flowery Branch.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Vision Worship Center (335 L C Turner Rd, Alto, GA 30511). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
