He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Gerrin Jones; his wife Doris Armour Jones; his sister Wanda Jones Armour; his nephew Donald Armour; his niece Ann Cathey; and his siblings-in-law, Geneva Armour Wade, Imogene Wade, Montine Armour, Beulah Armour, Barbara Armour, Bennie Armour, Perry Armour and Michael Ferguson.
He is survived by: his father Raleigh Jones; his daughter Rhonda Jones Loudermilk; his son-in-law Brian Loudermilk of Alto; his son Rodney; his daughter-in-law Julia Rae Jones of Alto; his sons, Ronald Jones of Alto and Randy Jones of Alto; his siblings-in-law, Joydean, Jerry Martin of Cornelia, Linda Ferguson of Alto, Patsy Armour of Alto, Ralph, Faye Armour of Alto and L. J. Armour of Alto; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Chris, Jessi, Chea, Cody, Amber, Whitney, MaKenzie and Kyson. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home and Crematory- North Chapel (245 US-441, Baldwin, GA 30535). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535).
