She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester Kinsey and Mary Elzoria McCallister Kinsey; her son Walter Lamar Shelnut; her siblings, Homer J. D. Kinsey, William David Kinsey, Gertrude Kinsey and Evelyn Genevia Kinsey Chosewood; and her grandson Jake Walter Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Della Armour of Clarkesville, Deborah Roberts (Jack) of Clarkesville and Regina Rylee of Alto; and her siblings, Waymon J. B. "Curly" Kinsey of Clarkesville, Roy Lee Kinsey of Gainesville and Willie Mae Kinsey Hooper of Demorest. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, six nieces, and 9 nephews.
