It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silas Hix of Alto, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hix and Clara Loggins Hix; his wife Alice Loggins Hix; his children, Wayne and JoAnn Hix Wade; his siblings, Guy Hix, Rev. Woodrow Hix, Paul Hix, Cohen Hix and Mazella Hix Martin; and his sister-in-law Inez Loggins Hix.
He is survived by: his son Randy Hix (Tonya); his grandchildren, Mark Wade (Meghan), Clara Hix and Katie Hix; his great grandchildren, Cody, Karsen Wade, Erin and Hallie Chesnut; his great great grandchild Lilah Graylynn McKay; his siblings, J. C. Hix (Glenda) and Dorothy Haynes (Dorsey); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Hix and Annette Hix.
