He was predeceased by: his parent George Thomas Garner; his stepson Wesley Glenn Martin; his grandson Josh Irwin Worley; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Garner, Harold Lee Garner and Claudine Martin.
He is survived by: his parent Nora Kemp Bolden; his wife Dorothy Nell Ervin Garner; his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Sandra Garner of Lula; his daughters, Tammy Murray of Alto, Jean and Kerry Collins of Gainesville; his stepson David Martin of Alto; his stepsons-in-law, Patti, Cecil Worley of Homer, Carol and Dale Carter of Lula; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Martin of Alto. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Tommy Garner of Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
