We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Nellie Burgess of Alto, Georgia, born in Baldwin, Georgia. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Arnold and Pauline Dalton Arnold; her husband Ernest Wilson Burgess; and her siblings, Jesse Arnold, Reuben Krockum and Ruby Myers.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Lee "Pete" Burgess of Alto and Doug (Virginia Burgess); and her grandchildren, Nathan Burgess, Joseph Burgess, Andrew Burgess, Lauren Burgess and Stephanie Burgess. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
