It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Creamer of Alto, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Washington Cribbs and Ina Wilkinson Cribbs; her former husband Huey Edward "Bill" Swayze, Sr.; her husband William P. "Bill" Creamer; and her siblings, J. W. Cribbs of Corney Cribbs, J. D, Wayne Cribbs, Vertus Shoemate, Joyce Polings and Linda Sue Mincks.
She is survived by: her son Huey Edward Swayze, Jr. of Charlotte, TN; her grandchildren, Jimmie Swayze, Cassidy Swayze and Zach Swayze; her great grandchildren, Mary Kate Swayze, Brantley Swayze and Kaydance Swayze; her grandson Dennis Mincks of Alto; and her niece Myrtle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Whitfield Funeral Home and Crematory- South Chapel (1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, GA 30511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Roselane Cemetery (1033 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577).
