He is survived by: his wife Rachel Ledford of Alto; his children, Susie (Matt Tumlin), Joan (David Cline) and Melvin; his daughter-in-law Sherry Ledford of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Becky Martin, Brian Orr, Steven Ledford, Kayla Ledford, Zak Ray, John Ray III, Trevor Cline, Tifa Cline and Courtney Kidd; and his siblings, Christine Martin of Talmo, Wilma Smith of Gainesville, Vina Brooks of Hull, Pat Lewis of Gainesville, Reba Smith of Pensacola, FL, Ned Ledford of Pendergrass and Comer Ledford of Gainesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
