She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall Wade and Ida Wade; her husband William Vance Thompson, Sr.; her daughter Janice Priscilla Thompson; her grandson Christopher Lee Scroggs; her brother James; her sister-in-law Annie Belle Wade; and her brother Bobby Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie (Clint Scroggs), Wanda (Rodney Gosnell), Wayne (Wanda Thompson), William (Jan Thompson), Jimmy (Cariedda Thompson) and Jerry Thompson of Alto; her brothers, Howard (Emma Ruth Wade) and Charles (Polly Wade); and also Geneva Gosnell. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
