He is survived by: his mother Stephanie Buffington McDonald of Cornelia; his wife Kailin Carter Hix of Alto; his children, Constance Hix of Athens, Kreaghynn Goerke Hix of Athens and Alexis Smith of Alto; his siblings, Caelon McDonald of Athens, Brittany Bullard of Covington and Caitlin McDonald of Cornelia; his stepparent Branson McDonald (Alesha); his brother Tyler Stone of Carlton; and the mother of his children Candice Goerke.
