He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. E. C. Goodson and Lela Roberts Goodson; and his siblings, Guy Goodson, Noyl Goodson, Robert Goodson, Coy Goodson, Leon Goodson, Earnest Goodson and Bernice Goodson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Goodson, Maybelle White of Alto and Lavonne Martin of Alto. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other friends.
