He was predeceased by: his father James Wallace Turner; and his grandson Jeremy Douglas Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Judy Nell Browning Turner of Alto; his children, Walter Eugene Turner of Alto, Kelly Ann Turner of Alto and Tanya Lynn Turner Allison of Baldwin; his grandson James "Jake" Lee Allison of Gillsville; his brother Ralph Daniel Turner of Washington; and his foster sister Doris Peck of Gainesville.
