He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aycock and Ruth Aycock; his stepmother Pauline Aycock; his daughter Alisa Dolores Aycock Thomas; and his brothers, Bill, Charles, Melvin, Jerry Aycock and Buddy Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Aycock; his son Bruce; his children-in-law, Donna Aycock of Aiken, SC and Tim Thomas of Alto, GA; his sisters, Mayzelle Mauldin and Claudette Aycock; his grandchildren, Rylee Thomas, Corey Aycock (Kimberly) and Katie Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Ainslee Aycock and Quinn Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Alto Baptist Church or New Hope Baptist Church, or the charity of one's choice.
