She was predeceased by: her father Douglas Odom; and her uncle Butch Thigpen. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Batten of Alston; her daughters, Brooke Douglass (Matt), Abbie Owen of Alston, Allie Owen of Adairsville, Gabby Batten of Pridgen and Kaylee Batten of Alston; her mother Carolan "Kak" Odom of Alston; and her sisters, Kathy Mathis (Robert) of Alston and Christina "Cricket" Johnson (Clint) of Brunswick. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
