He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Jackson O'Neal II; his wife Wilma Jean O'Neal; his daughter Laurie Ann O'Neal; his mother Annie Bell Beasley O'Neal; and his siblings, Andrew Lee O'Neal II, Louray O'Neal, Luvenia O'Neal and Bobby Gene O'Neal.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel O'Neal of Arkansas, Tim O'Neal of Florida, Robert O'Neal (Dori) of Greenville and Steve Hare (Tammy) of Lafayette, Indiana; and his brother Ander Lee O'Neal (Doris) of South Carolina.
