With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolan Odom of Alston, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hoke Douglas Odom; her daughter Tyna Odom Batten; her parents, Tom Thigpen and Merle Knight Thigpen; and her brother Butch Thigpen.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Odom Mathis (Robert) of Alston; her sister Julia Thigpen Palmer of Washington, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Avery Mathis (Izzy) of Lyons, Brooke Douglass (Matthew) of Toombs Central, Abbie Owen, Allie Owen of Adairsville, Kaylee Batten of Alston and Haze Thigpen of Ailey.
