He is survived by: his wife Teri Hopkins Holt; his siblings, Becky Rice (Joe) of Dallas, TX and Mike Holt of Acworth, GA; his siblings-in-law, Tommy Hopkins of Savannah, GA and Tina Hopkins Ray of Sylva, NC; his nephews, Jim Rice (Liz) of Dallas, TX and Brent Holt (Jennifer) of Decatur, GA.; and his niece Elizabeth Williams (Derek) of Nashville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
