Takanori Shoji Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Takanori Shoji of Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Takanori Shoji to pay them a last tribute.

As Takanori departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Takanori may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Takanori leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn (Vasselus). He is survived by: his parents, Tokuichiro Shoji and Yaeko Shoji; his daughters, Mari and Anna (Ryan); and his siblings, Kingo (Hifumi) and Yoshimi.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Roswell Funeral Home (950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076). A prayer was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church (3431 Trickum Rd, Marietta, GA 30066). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Green Lawn Cemetery (950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076).
