We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 79, Shirley A. Folkerts (Alpharetta, Georgia), born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl H. Blankenburg and Hazel B. Blankenburg; and her husband Ralph C. Folkerts. She is survived by: her brother Ralph; her children, Judy Ambrose (Rob) and Jim Folkerts; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Belcher (Joseph), Mackenzie Ambrose, Addison Ambrose and Caden Ambrose; her great grandchild Benjamin Belcher; and her brother Jim Blankenburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church.
