Richard Shelby Janes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Shelby Janes of Alpharetta, Georgia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Janna Torrance Janes; his daughters, Sally Erbe (Richard), Lisa Smith (Duncan) and Susan Janes; and his stepchildren, Ralph "Doc" Torrance, Connie Gilbert (David) and James "Jim" Torrance. He is also survived by ten Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter.

Dick died peacefully in his sleep February 8th, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
