He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Poshva and Ruth Poshva; his sister Joyce; and his brother-in-law Reinhold Spath. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Poshva; his daughters, Colleen Doles (Keith) and Ellen Oneacre (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Molly, Ryan, Hannah, Erin Doles, Connor and Carson Oneacre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leo M Bean and Sons Funeral Home (2771 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parish of the Holy Family Church (4100 Lyell Rd, Rochester, NY 14606).
