He was predeceased by: his parents, June Lorene Vinson and Dewey Clyde Vinson, Sr.; and his brother Dewey Clyde Vinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, David Vinson (Sasha) and Darlene Vinson Barnwell (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Macie, Jason (Caroline), Marissa, Tori (Garrison), Sam (Nissa), Zach, Trey, Sydney, Noah, Georgia and Landry; and his great grandchildren, Jett, Mason, Rhett, Eli, Melina, Andrew, Miles and Joshua.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johns Creek Baptist Church (6910 McGinnis Ferry Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:30 PM.
