She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Laakman and Isabelle Reynolds Laakman; her son Mark Becher; and her siblings, Royal Jr., Henry, William, Robert, Farris, James Laakman, Carrie Hasler, Mary Alice Laakman and Jane Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Becher; her daughters, Joyce McDowell (Mark) of Veedersburg, IN and Elaine Decker (Eric) of Milton, GA.; her daughter-in-law Michelle Becher of Alpharetta, GA.; her grandchildren, Blain McDowell (Casey), Aaron McDowell (Lindsey), Cole Becher, Hallee Becher, Jenna Decker Messier (Michael) and Bailee Decker; her great grandchildren, Paige McDowell, Brooke McDowell and Thea McDowell; and her sisters-in-law, Althea Laakman of Vincennes, IN, Germaine Graman of Vincennes, IN, Judy Doyle (Jerry) of Vincennes, IN and Nancy Lasher (David) of Fulda, IN.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
