She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas DeAngelo and Jenny Sarp DeAngelo; her siblings, Christine, Eugene and Mary Elizabeth; and her son Michael F. Griffin, II.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Griffin; her nieces, Elizabeth and Maria; her nephew Sean; her children, Laura Griffin Kasperzak (Joel) of Alpharetta and Richard Griffin (Kim) of Gainesville; her family, Straton Kidder, Delia Griffin, Stella Kidder, Saban Kidder, Max Griffin, Lavender Griffin, Sydni Kidder, Scarlett Kidder, Nico Griffin, Nora Griffin, Emerson Schroeder and Oliver Griffin; and also Griffin Kasperzak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at Alzheimer's Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer's Disease (https://act.alz.org) and Longleaf hospice.
