He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Stack; his children, Maggie (Bobby Bazemore), Holly Stack (Alex Jaffe) of Atlanta, Georgia and Dennis Stack of Sedalia; his siblings, Kathleen (Gene Coenen), Mary (Tim Loy), Theresa (Adam Hembree), Maggie (Jim Lottes), Ann (Steve Stoverink), Matthew (Denise Stack), Thomas (Jo Ann Stack), Mark (Susan Stack), Paul Stack (Karen Luebbert) of Saint Charles and Patrick (Sherry Stack); and his grandchildren, Jack Bazemore and Indy Bazemore.
