She is survived by: her children, Steve Helms (Patricia) of Colorado Springs, CO and Karen Killebrew (Cameron) of Milton, GA; her grandchildren, Lance Helms (Heather) of Charlotte, NC, Kyle Helms (Sarah) of Port St, Cody Killebrew and Abbey Killebrew of Milton, GA; and her great grandchildren, Anniston, Brooks, Emilia and Madison Helms.
Melba Long Helms, age 89, of Alpharetta, GA, lost her extensive battle with Alzheimer's disease on July 10, 2020.
