She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Thomas Mills, Sr.; her son Robert Lee Mills; her parents, Jerry Raymond and Lounette Irene Reeves; and her siblings, Howard Reeves, Buford Reeves, John C. Reeves, Reuben Reeves, Vernon Reeves and Camila Reeves.

She is survived by: her sister Francis Reeves; her children, Richard Thomas Mills, Jr. (Lori) and Diane Hamm (Jim); her grandsons, Michael R. Mills and Christopher M. Mills; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Martin (Edwin), Emily Anderson and Morgan Crocker (Cody); her great grandchild Harper Grace Mills; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Elanie Catherine Crocker.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to either the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Ronald McDonald House.

“My sweet mother I miss everyday. I was her "sweetpea" and we used to dance and sing to that old 60's tune when I was growing up. She was light-hearted, full of joy, and faithful to God. It was her faith that helped me find mine in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
