With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Bauer in Alpharetta, Georgia, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Tracy; and his parents, Florence Bauer and Sam Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Frances Duchon; his children, Terry Bauer (Bonnie) and Wendy Epstein; his grandchildren, Stephanie Bauer Oppenheimer (Johnston Oppenheimer), Amanda Bauer Dearie (Donald Dearie), Alexander Epstein and Sabrina Epstein; his great grandchildren, Will, Sutton, Francie, Donnie and Annie; and his brother Morris Bauer (Arlene).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Marriott East (26300 Harvard Rd, Warrensville Heights, OH 44122).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Marvin's name.
