With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Hackney of Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hackney and Helen Scates Hackney. He is survived by: his wife Alice Hackney; his sons, Andy Hackney, Sam Hackney and Wayne Hackney; his stepchildren, Dusty Turner, Casey Turner, Andy Turner and Allison Clark; and his grandchildren, Alex Hackney, Ty Hackney, Colt Hackney, Piper Clark, Campbell Clark, Olive Turner, James Turner and Clayton Turner.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alpharetta First Baptist Church.
