He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Barton and Lola Barton; his daughter Terry; and his siblings, Claude Jr., Annette Fisher and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Mays Barton; his daughter Tracey; his son-in-law Jack Barton; his grandsons, Jason Connell and Justin (Alyssa Connell); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Nathan.
