He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, W. D. Doss and Lorene Pearman Doss; his wife Charlotte Reed Doss; his children, Harry Lee Doss Jr., Malinda (Charles Darling) and Bill; his daughters-in-law, Dianne Doss of Alpharetta, Georgia and Brenda Doss (Kirby Gregory) of Tifton, Georgia; his close friend Joan Kaps; his grandchildren, Jared Tanner Sr. of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Zack, Joanna Tanner of Valdosta, Georgia, Christina Norton of East Peoria, Illinois, Dan Doss of Washington, D. C., Sam McGriff of Columbus, Georgia, Sydney Doss of Tifton, Georgia and Jenny Doss of Corvallis, Oregon.; his great grandchildren, Jared Tanner Jr., Alex Tanner and Jaxon Tanner; and his siblings, David Doss of Woodstock and Esther Doss Davis of Watkinsville, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794).
