She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Brown Bowen; her sister Brucie Harry (Lowrance); her children, Lucy Scott (Randy) and Bruce Bowen (Silvia); and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Catherine Rowe and Ella Mackey.
