He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Dallas Coan; his wife Sandra Garrison Coan; and his siblings, Floyd McCoy Coan, Linda Thompson and Judy Dodd.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Coan (Tami), Anna Armstrong and Mark Coan (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jessica Crawford (Cameron), Lauren Armstrong, Matthew Coan, Michael Armstrong (Ali) and Celeste Coan; his great grandchildren, Dansby and Bo Crawford; and his sister Edie Mobley (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
