With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elder James C. Heard of Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Emily Leola Gravley; his stepfather Pars G. Gravley; and his sister Juanita Cochran (Neat). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Heard; his sons, Stephen and John; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Heard; his grandchildren, Jack, Asa Heard, Emma and Ellis Heltsley; and his siblings, Ed Gravley and Opal Dean.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Forsyth Primitive Baptist Church, c/o 5450 Tallantworth Trail, Cumming, GA 30040.
