He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Chasteen and Melvin Chasteen. He is survived by: his wife Sue Hill Chasteen; his daughter Andrea Chasteen Ward (Alex); his stepdaughter Tanya LeeAnn West; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Thomas Ward, Finnley Marie Ward and Raylan Crawford Ward; and his brother F. Joel Chasteen (Sallie). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and extended family.
