It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Sammy Thomas of Alpharetta, Georgia, born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Thomas and Lela Thomas; and his siblings, William Luther, Juanita and Frances.

He is survived by: his wife Dale Thomas of Atlanta; his children, Jared (Jennifer) of Atlanta, Laura (Bert) of Roswell and Joseph of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Paige, Michael and Anders; and his siblings, Beverly and Marguerite.
