He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Steedley and Samantha Turner Steedley; his wife Audrey Carter Steedley; his daughter Elsie; his sons-in-law, Joseph Sellers and Dennis Cromer; and his siblings, Lester Steedley, McKinley Steedley, H. D. Steedley and Lillian Mitchum.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Steedley (Louise) of Alma, Bryan Steedley (Margie) of Alma, Tanya Foskey (Tom) of Alma, Lila Cromer of Alma, Julie Mullis (Steve) of Alma and Lisa Robinson (Tony) of Alma. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
