She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Asbury "Buddy" Britt and Ruby Lee Coley Britt; her husband William "Billy" Glenn Newberry, Sr.; her siblings, J. A. Britt, Johnny Mac Britt, Buddy Jack Britt, Ronnie Britt, Christine Peterson, Connie Sineath and Linda Ivey; her grandchildren, Shon Whitley and Shanna Sweat; and her great grandchild Warren Blake Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Newberry (Sherry) of Alma, Gary Newberry (Sarah) of Alma, Teresa Reich (Daniel) of Alma and Pam Johnson of Alma; and her close friend Hattie Mae (Claude Fuller). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
