He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wayland and Iona Walker; and his siblings, George Ernest Walker, Vivian Harris and Juanita Junkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Jones Walker; his children, Wayland Ray Walker, Jr. of Winder, GA and Leah Miles (Jimmy) of Alma, GA; and his grandchildren, Jeofry Wages (Meg), Gray Goodson (Emmi) and Jessica Goodson.
