The memory of Vonice Stewart of Alma, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alvin "J. A." Swindle and Pearlie Pauline "Pearl" Swindle; and her brother James Edward "Jimmy" Swindle. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Eugene Stewart (Alma); her daughters, Meloni Franz (Rocky) and Brenda Robles (Ringo); her grandchildren, Olivia Franz Jaggers (Sherman), Christian Robles (Callie), Raegan Robles Ferro (Danny), Aaron Robles Jr. and Brennan Robles; her great grandchild Otto Jaggers; and her sister Sherry Aycock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church, PO Box 688 Alma, GA 31510, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Vonice's honor.
