With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ione Taylor of Alma, Georgia, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Barber and Mollie Boatright Thrift; her husband Eugene Taylor; her sons, Wendell Taylor, Dale Taylor and Eddie Taylor; and her siblings, Jack Barber (Winona), Rhudean Mann (Paul), Delcie Kight (Robert) and Betty Metz (Ray).
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Williams of Jacksonville, FL and Gayle Anderson of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren.
