He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hilton Sweat and Madeline Lee Sweat; and his wife Barbara Purvis Sweat. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Paul Sweat (Julie) and Angela Lee Sweat; and his grandchildren, Amberly Sweat of Alma, James Sweat of Alma and Jacob Sweat of Alma.
