It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Witmer Davis of Alma, Georgia, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer C. Davis and Wynell Tuten Davis; his grandson Torry Devin Davis; his siblings, Ronnie Davis, Deloris Johnson Wicker and June Smart; and his brothers-in-law, Jerrell Johnson and Brownie Smart.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Yawn Davis of Alma; his son Dale Davis of Blackshear; his grandsons, Shawn Davis and Trey Davis; his sister Carol Hersey (Buddy) of Waycross; and his sister-in-law Ellen Davis of Jesup. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
