With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Wade Anderson of Alma, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sidney Anderson, Sr. (D. S.) and Emily Aleene Nettles Anderson; his brothers, Daniel Sidney Anderson, Jr., Cecil Anderson and Victor Anderson; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Rigdon and Brian Whitfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Jones (Derek) of Alma; his siblings, Charles Anderson (Rita) of St Cloud, Darryl Anderson (Betty) of Baxley, Terry Anderson (Theressa) of Alma, Erma Taylor, Deleen Rigdon (Donnie Joe) and Karen Stevens (Richard) of Alma; his sister-in-law Nancy Anderson of Satellite Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Kody Anderson (Shaundora) and Takeelie Barnes (Demarcus); his great grandchildren, Kaleia Barnes, Makayla Thomas, Nytasia Chancey, Natevya Chancey, Kaiden Barnes, Mariah Anderson, Amir Smith, Maleigha Anderson and King Barton; and his caregiver Alberta "Bertha" H. Cole.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the same location.
